We are very happy with the beautiful house Jim Basset built for us. Not only is the quality of the construction first-rate but Jim showed truly artistic creativity in the design of such things as the log staircase and the powder room. Even the placement of stones bordering the driveway showed taste and a sense of balance. The fit of the cabinets, trim work, and flooring is perfect. We are not architects and the house was our own design. Therefore, at times things that seemed good on paper did not work out. Where changes proved necessary, the charges were reasonable and we were in a few instances saved from costly mistakes by his suggestions. It’s a beautiful house.
